Privacy Policy

The 4th Reel takes the privacy of its visitors super seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information that are received and collected by The 4th Reel and what is done with them. Let me just say up front that I will never share your email address or any other personal information to anyone without your direct consent. That is just rude.

What is Collected???

Like many other websites, www.the4threel.com makes use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track a user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.

Do I Use Cookies???

Yes, like nearly all WordPress blogs, The 4th Reel uses cookies to store information whenever you leave a comment. The cookies record the name, email address, and URL that you enter when you submit a comment so that you won’t have to re-type that info the next time you leave a comment.

If you wish to disable cookies, you may do so through your individual browser options. More detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers can be found at the browsers’ respective websites.

When leaving a comment, users must submit a name and email address. To combat spam, the WordPress blogging platform also records the IP address of anyone submitting a comment. As an added security measure, recorded IP addresses are deleted from The 4th Reel’s database after sixty (60) days.

Again, none of this information will be shared with anyone without your direct permission.

How about Third Parties?

Third-party advertisers may also place and read cookies on your browser and/or use web beacons to collect information. The 4th Reel has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information on their practices as well as for instructions about how to opt-out of certain practices. The 4th Reel’s privacy policy does not apply to, and we cannot control the activities of, such other advertisers or web sites.

What about kids???

The 4th Reel does not knowingly collect or solicit Personally Identifiable Information from or about children under 13 except as permitted by law. If I discover that I have received any information from a child under 13 in violation of this policy, I will delete that information immediately.
